I also bought an XBOX webcam because it's cheap and very good with its 30FPS at 640x480 resolution specs. I had to open it to remove the IR filter wich was quite easy.
As you can see on the last picture, the webcam can see the the IR rays coming from my TV remote. This is my first blob!! Yeahh!!To be continued...
